Agwrx Elevator is seeking a self-motivated individual for a full time Grain/Agronomy Assistant Manager position located in Clark, SD.
This position will focus on assisting grain elevator manager with day to day operations.
The candidate will also assistant during Agronomy season.
This candidate will need to have the ability to think on their feet and quickly problem solve to insure efficiency.
*Responsibilities and Duties*
* Oversee grain facilities including focus on quality control
* Grain handling including probing, grading grain, drying, segregating, filling/reclaiming of ground piles, transferring and blending grain.
* Bin selection and management
* Efficiently load and unload semi-trucks and rail cars
* Equipment and facility maintenance
* Perform duties safely within company policies, guidelines and in accordance with all governmental regulations.
* Ability to work well in a high paced environment and problem solve quickly.
* Willing to engage with customers and be able to work well in a team environment.
* Ability to lead in a team environment
* Load out and receive in fertilizer
* Run the fertilizer tower
* Dispatch tender trucks to fields
* Other duties as assigned
*Physical Requirements *
* Ability to lift 50lb - 70lbs
* Able to climb ladders
* Shovel grain and fertilizer
* Work in a dusty environment
*Education and Experience:*
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or 3-years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Prefer at least 5 years of experience
