Job Description
The position provides general administrative assistance to loan officers.
It will perform a variety of support duties such as scanning loan files into Director, promissory notes, security agreements, loan documents, financial statements, etc.
in support of loans being made by Loan Officers, and ongoing routine administration tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
Primary
Receives loan payments, checks loan activity from previous day and works accordingly.
Scans loan files into Director, promissory notes, security agreements, loan documents, financial statements, etc.
in support of loans being made by Loan Officers, and ongoing routine administration documents.
Completes UCC/EFS filings: new, continuation, amendments, assignments or termination of filing.
Also perfects liens on titled vehicles and real estate.
Provide a variety of support duties related to the lending function over the phone, e-mail, or chat
Perform a variety of support duties related to the lending function including checking booked loans, creating notes in the systems, scanning and vaulting, account maintenance, and working reports
Secondary
Prepares pre-funding worksheets, loan input sheets, loan documentation checklists and any other communications necessary to properly submit a loan package to Loan Operations.
Verification of loan document accuracy and completeness.
Reconcile assigned General Ledger accounts.
Entering loan notes on members’ accounts and setting up autopay
Maintain accurate and complete files and records
Tracks, accepts and releases Titles for collateral
Transaction reversal and similar requests
Monitors insurance policies and manages the forced place insurance program (CPI)
Process, track, and post payments
EDUCATION:
Minimum of High School Diploma Required.
A two year degree in accounting or business management preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Banking experience preferred.
OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Monitor compliance to ensure the processing and handling of information is done in a manner that adheres to FDIC regulations and consumer protection issues.
Ability to communicate well with customers and employees, both verbal and written.
Maintain the integrity of highly confidential customer and bank financial information.
Organizational skills.
